Welcome to My Research Blog!

Hello everyone,

I am thrilled to share the beginning of my research journey with you all. My name is Arjun Abhilash, and I am currently diving into the intricate world of public policy. Currently, I am working on a paper about the effects of the visa backlog in the U.S. legal immigration system. After this, I will be writing a paper on the housing crisis in the Appalachian Region.

The visa backlog has far-reaching implications, affecting countless individuals and families striving for a better life in the United States. Through my research, I aim to uncover the multifaceted impacts of this backlog, from economic consequences to personal hardships.

I am incredibly fortunate to be conducting this research under the expert guidance of Dr. Jourdan Davis, a distinguished professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Davis’s extensive knowledge and experience in public policy are invaluable assets as I navigate this complex topic.

In my blog, I will document my findings, share insights, and reflect on the challenges and triumphs of my research process. I hope to create a space for discussion and engagement, where we can collectively explore solutions to critical issues.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Stay tuned for more updates!

Warm regards,

Arjun Abhilash
